Sandtray Training

with Karen R. Burke, LPC-S, RPT-S, CCST-T

Welcome to Austin Sandtray Training!

This is a unique type of training. We will be learning in an experiential focused environment where we really dive into the power of sandtray therapy. Be prepared to transform professionally as well as personally.

I received training from Dr. Theresa Kestly, at the NM Sandtray Training Institute.  She trained with Donna Hanna-Chase. It is important that you know who your trainer studied with, so that you can assess the quality of training you are investing in.

Important COVID 19 Update:
At this time, all in person training will be open
only to those who are fully vaccinated. Documentation will be required.

Please do not sign up for trainings if you are not flexible with wearing a mask. We will be following CDC and local recommendations. It is hard to predict our status this far out.

Thank you for your understanding.

Location of Training

All in person courses are taught at the home of Karen Burke, which is located in South Austin, Texas 78739. The full address will be emailed to you upon completion of registration and payment.

Except for Level One, most levels have a prerequisite. Please do not assume you are exempt from prerequisites. Before registering for a session, read the prerequisite requirements to make sure you have met it. Please fill out the registration window (see below) for each training you would like to take.

Covid Considerations

Because we are currently experiencing a world-wide pandemic, you will be asked to show a copy of ID plus documentation of your Covid-19 vaccine for all in-person courses. This includes CDC recommended boosters. There will be no exceptions to this rule.

Training size is limited to 6 participants during Stage 4 or 5 Covid Protocols.

Payment & Refund Policy

Please make sure you understand the refund policy before registering.

Refund Policy: a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, will be issued if a request is made in writing (email), at least one week, (7 days) prior to the training session. Refunds may take up to 3-4 weeks for processing.

Because I am a provider for Texas SandTray Association, if you are a member of TSTA, you are entitled to a $25 discount. You will find this option on the payment page of registration.

My Venmo info is @Karen-Burke-29. You may also pay by check. If you would like to pay by either of these methods, just choose "offline payment" at check out. If you are paying by check, please make check out to Karen Burke. Otherwise, the registration process will take you to the page for PayPal or credit card payments.
